We also provide a Sales Performance Quality Assurance™ methodology that enables B2B sales management to source and retain high performance employee salespeople and/or independent reps.
“Knotes & Comments” are how to nuggets (concise white papers) of sales and marketing tactics and strategies. They describe state-of-the-art sales management techniques that are based on decades of experience in sourcing and supporting high performance salespeople, especially independent manufacturers’ rep agencies. The “Knotes & Comments” series was begun by Kneale & Company, a marketing services firm, in the 1970s.
Growth Development Partners’ predecessor was Kneale & Company, which was founded in 1974. That firm’s purpose was to provide sales support services to businesses, primarily those selling through independent manufactures reps. Kneale & Company’s services were – and Growth Development Partners are – divided into three categories:
Mr. Kneale’s business career began with the turnaround of his family’s printing business that was begun by his grandfather in 1888. Once this was successful, Mr. Kneale went on to create new marketing services functions for three multi-division corporations, serving in sales force support, technical writing, and marketing services capacities..
He was then hired by Ohio’s largest advertising agency to write literature and other sales support materials. He subsequently went to work for a smaller agency where he continued his sales support development work while adding ad creation and the formation of a Realtor co-op to his experience base.
His next opportunity was establishing his own company that provided sales support services to manufacturers and other B2B companies, especially those selling through independent manufacturers’ representatives. Kneale & Company was subsequently upgraded into The Growth Development Group when two associates with financial and engineering backgrounds joined the firm.
The objective then became acquiring small businesses for turnaround. When the partnership mix changed, the focus shifted to sales performance quality assurance™, based on the ISO 9000 quality system. The firm then became Growth Development Partners.
